Managing Director
David co-founded Inspire Safety UK in 2006 with a clear aim: to help organisations improve safety, quality and performance in ways that genuinely work on the ground. With extensive experience across high-risk and regulated sectors including nuclear, rail, defence and construction, David brings strategic oversight alongside practical, real-world understanding.
He is known for building strong relationships with clients, supporting leadership teams and embedding systems that balance compliance with culture. David remains closely involved in delivery, ensuring Inspire Safety’s work is grounded, relevant and impactful.
Commercial Director
Elsa is a highly experienced safety practitioner and commercial lead, with a strong track record in developing integrated management systems that are both robust and proportionate. Since co-founding Inspire Safety UK, Elsa has played a key role in shaping the organisation’s approach, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of how people and organisations work.
Her focus is on helping clients create sustainable systems that support continuous improvement, engagement and long-term success rather than box-ticking exercises.
Occupational Health and Safety Apprentice
Iain is an Occupational Health and Safety Apprentice, developing his professional practice while working towards his NEBOSH qualification. He supports the team across a range of projects, gaining hands-on experience in audits, inspections and system support.
Iain brings a fresh perspective, strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to learning, making him a valued part of the Inspire Safety team as he continues to build his career in health and safety.
Office Manager
Sarah keeps Inspire Safety UK running smoothly. As Office Manager, she provides essential operational and administrative support, ensuring that projects, systems and communications are well coordinated.
Her role is central to maintaining efficiency across the business, supporting both the consultancy team and clients with professionalism, reliability and a calm, organised approach.
Integrated Management System Administrator
Nicola brings practical experience and strong system knowledge to her role as Integrated Management System Administrator. She supports the development, maintenance and continual improvement of management systems, helping ensure they remain effective, accessible and aligned with client needs.
Nicola’s approach is detail-focused and methodical, supporting consistency and quality across Inspire Safety’s work.

Janellen oversees business operations, bringing structure, clarity and leadership to Inspire Safety UK’s internal systems. Her role ensures that the organisation operates efficiently while continuing to grow sustainably.
With a strong background in business management, Janellen supports planning, governance and delivery, enabling the wider team to focus on providing high-quality support to clients.
Health & Safety Advisor
Craig is a Health & Safety Advisor with practical, hands-on experience, particularly within the construction and site-based environment. He supports clients with day-to-day health and safety advice, inspections, risk assessments and compliance support — leading a range of crucial training courses for our clients.
Craig is valued for his straightforward, approachable style and his ability to translate health and safety requirements into clear, workable actions that make sense on site. His focus is on supporting safe working practices that are realistic, proportionate and effective.
Management and Safety Consultant
Helen is an experienced Management and Safety Consultant with a strong background in organisational safety, leadership and human performance. She works closely with clients to support culture change, leadership development and effective management systems.
Helen brings a thoughtful, people-centred approach, helping organisations move beyond compliance towards meaningful and lasting improvement.
Lead ISO Consultant
Angie is our Lead ISO Consultant with over 20 years’ experience supporting organisations to implement and achieve certification across internationally recognised standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 44001 and ISO 14001. She works closely with businesses to provide practical, step-by-step guidance — helping them strengthen quality management systems, improve collaborative working and enhance environmental responsibility.
Angie is valued for her supportive, down-to-earth approach and her ability to guide clients through complex processes with clarity and confidence. Drawing on her own experience across operational, quality and leadership roles, she translates ISO requirements into clear, workable actions that deliver real impact. Her focus is on helping organisations exceed customer expectations, build strong, collaborative relationships and create systems that are both effective and sustainable.
Senior Health and Safety Leader
Jamie has over 14 years experience in the woodworking industry, specializing in machinery operation, training, and maintenance. After a company acquisition by a national group, Jamie played a key role in leading the transition and integration process, later transitioning to the group’s health and safety team.
Health and Safety Advisor
Ben supports organisations across a range of industries with practical, sensible health and safety advice, drawing on years of hands-on experience within the haulage and recycling sectors. He works closely with clients to provide ongoing support, from site inspections and risk assessments to wider compliance support, including quality management systems and progression towards ISO certification.
Known for his clear, down-to-earth approach, Ben focusses on making legal requirements work in practice, anticipating challenges and designing solutions that encourage genuine engagement.
Health and Safety Advisor
David is an experienced Health and Safety Advisor with UK-wide experience, specialising in the timber merchant and building materials sector. He has progressed through a range of operational and strategic health and safety roles, beginning as a Health and Safety Co-ordinator and advancing to Health and Safety Auditor and Health and Safety Business Partner. This progression has provided him with a strong practical understanding of frontline operations alongside senior-level risk management and compliance.
In his current role with Inspire Safety, he is supporting organisations by delivering proportionate, practical health and safety advice, helping duty holders meet their legal obligations while fostering safe and effective working environments.
